What It Is
The Green Hammer Coral is one of the most recognisable and popular LPS corals in the reef hobby. It features long fleshy tentacles ending in distinctive hammer or anchor-shaped tips, which glow with intense fluorescent green colouration under reef lighting. As the colony grows, the swaying tentacles create a beautiful display of movement that brings any reef aquarium to life.

Few corals combine movement, colour and presence quite like a Hammer Coral. Notes
Hammer corals prefer stable water chemistry and moderate, indirect flow that allows the tentacles to sway naturally without being blasted. While generally more forgiving than many LPS corals, they should be given space from neighbouring species as they can extend sweeper tentacles and sting nearby corals. Their combination of bright fluorescence, flowing movement and relatively straightforward care requirements makes them an excellent choice for both newer reef keepers and experienced hobbyists alike.
